Abdirahman Ikar is vice-president responsible for all purchasing and supply chain management functions across Pepperl + Fuchs, a global electronics and sensor manufacturer for factory and process automation.

He is also responsible for supply chain innovation and digitalisation. he has held the role since 2023, having previously lead Material Planning and Logistics Europe for South Korean Tier-1 Hanon Systems and previously for Hanon´s Electronics and Fluid Pressure Division. He has only held global roles in logistics and supply chain at Magna Powertrain, Deutz and Leica Geosystems with main the focus on driving “end to end supply chain”, innovating global operation footprint, operational excellence and digital transformation.

Abdirahman Ikar has 25 years’ supply chain experience across diverse industry suppliers and logistics providers and is a member of the advisory board at Fraunhofer Institute for Factory Operation and Automation. Abdirahman Ikar holds a Diploma degree from the University of Applied Sciences Cologne in Germany.
