As the global lead for supply chain risk management and sustainability in Schaeffler's corporate freight management team, Dr Nadine Kiratli-Schneider supports Schaeffler’s divisions and regions in building resilient and sustainable transport logistics networks.
Together with her core team and the wider transportation management team, she leverages technology and collaborates with logistic purchasing colleagues to learn from and proactively prepare for supply chain disruptions as well as to systematically identify actionable decarbonization measures in Schaeffler’s transport activities.
Before her current role, Dr. Kiratli-Schneider was head of global inbound logistics at Schaeffler.
She draws from experience and expertise accumulated in her former role as Assistant Professor of Purchasing and Supply Chain Management at the University of Maastricht where her research focus lied on creativity and innovation in procurement and across the supply chain spurred by the various actors, ranging from suppliers over buyers to end-customers and various technological developments. Living by the credo “combining the best of both worlds” Dr. Kiratli-Schneider continues to maintain a close connection and dialog with Purchasing and Supply Management scholars to inform better practice.
