Johan Öhlin joined Autoliv in August 2025 and is responsible for Global Logistics Category Management, driving the company’s strategic direction in logistics procurement and supplier collaboration. While new to Autoliv, Johan brings deep experience from the automotive and supply chain sectors, with a career spanning operational excellence, procurement, and advanced planning transformation.

Before joining Autoliv, Johan spent several years at Volvo Cars, most recently leading the Advanced Planning Solution transformation, where he helped transition the company from legacy planning tools and siloed processes to an end‑to‑end concurrent planning environment. Earlier at Volvo Cars, he worked on lean transformation within manufacturing and supply chain, with a particular focus on material planning and ordering.

Johan began his Volvo Cars journey as Procurement Manager for Inbound Logistics leading a major strategic shift: cancelling out a 4PL operating model, insourcing critical logistics capabilities, and contracting new service providers across inbound freight, packaging, and packaging services.

Before his time at Volvo Cars, Johan gained experience in logistics optimization at the software start‑up Trade Extensions, in operations consulting at Celerant Consulting, and in indirect procurement at Volvo Group.
